Delivery Method

Start Date - Please select one day before your event, or one day before you need to travel to your event. For example if your event is on Saturday please select Friday as the start date.

Return Date - Next working day following your event (Usually Monday)

Nationwide postage is $15 and will be added at checkout. Please ensure you select Post as your delivery method when you get to checkout, or your order may be cancelled.

Damage Protection

Accidental Damage Insurance


Damage Insurance is available for accidental damage caused to our rental garments.


By selecting to add damage insurance this covers costs of upto $100 for various reasons such as specialty cleaning and seamstress repairs.


Damage protection does not cover costs above $100, such a major tears, holes, pulling ect. Costs above $100 and upto the RRP of the garment are not covered by this.


Damage Insurance costs are based off the RRP of the garment.

POSTAL TRY ONS 

Postage try ons are limited. They are allowed on a case by case basis. 
If you would like to try an item on via post, please email us at: nz.rentforanevent@gmail.com and we can try organise for this.
Please note: Postal try ons are not always allowed, and are up to Rent for an Event's discretion. (Subject to dress popularity and availability.)

Try ons must be returned to the post office the same day that they arrive to you, giving you enough time to try on and decide if it’s the dress you’d like to go for for your event. 

The charge covers spot cleaning, and admin. The cost is not reimbursed. Any damage to the dress during the try on may be charged for accordingly.
OVERNIGHT POSTAGE NEEDS TO BE PAID FOR - We will not send the try on if this has not been paid for.

WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY POSTAL TRY ON ORDERS THAT ARE NOT ORGANISED VIA EMAIL BEFORE PURCHASING A TRY ON.
